The Roses Boat Race

Roses is an annual intervarsity competition between Lancaster University and the University of York, and is the biggest varsity event in Europe – with over 100 fixtures. LUBC has been a part of the Roses legacy since its inception in 1965, with the original Roses competition having one event – the Roses Boat Race. Since then the varisty event has evolved rapidly into what it is today.
